1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Auto Insurance Solutions (“Auto Insurance Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of auto-insurancesolutions.com and any page on it. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

2. Who we are — and what we are not

Auto Insurance Solutions is an advertising-supported publisher. We publish general information about auto insurance, home insurance, and home warranty plans and, when you choose to continue, we connect you with a participating third-party partner. We may be compensated for making that connection.

We are not an insurance company, insurance agency, broker, producer, adjuster, or home warranty provider, and we are not licensed to transact insurance in any state. We do not:

• quote, sell, solicit, negotiate, bind, underwrite, or price coverage or service plans;
• issue, renew, amend, or cancel any policy or plan;
• receive or process applications, premiums, payments, or claims;
• make any eligibility, coverage, or pricing decision about you;
• collect, request, or store personal information about you of any kind.

All of those functions belong solely to licensed insurance providers and home warranty companies, who are responsible for their own products, disclosures, licensing, and conduct.

3. Eligibility

You may use this site only if you are at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and able to form a binding contract. This site is not directed to children.

4. What this site actually does — and what it does not ask of you

This site publishes general educational content, may ask you one or two anonymous multiple-choice questions, and then offers you a link to a participating partner. Selecting that link takes you to a third-party website.

We never ask you for your name, street address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, driver’s license number, vehicle identification number, Social Security number, insurance policy number, financial account or payment card details, or any health information. There is no form on this site that accepts them and no account to create. The answers you tap are anonymous preferences that travel with you in the link so the partner can show you relevant options; we do not store them. Answering our questions is not an application, and it does not create any relationship with an insurer or provider, any offer, any binder, or any coverage. Language such as “you may qualify,” “pre-qualified,” “check your rate,” or “see your options” describes the general possibility of exploring available options through a partner. It is not a determination about you, your eligibility, or the price you would be offered, and it is not made by anyone licensed to make such a determination.

If a partner asks you for personal details on their site, you are dealing with that partner, not with us. Their terms, their disclosures, and their privacy policy apply, and any consent you give them — including consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email — is given to them, not to us. Read their page before you submit anything.

5. No professional advice

Everything on this site is general information for a general audience. It is not legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation. Coverage needs vary by person, vehicle, property, and state. Consult a licensed agent or advisor in your state before making a decision.

6. No quotes, no offers, and no guaranteed savings

This site does not provide quotes. Nothing on it is a quote, an offer, a binder, or a promise of coverage or savings.

It is not a quote, not an offer of coverage, and not a prediction of what you will pay. Availability, eligibility, premiums, discounts, coverage, limits, exclusions, deductibles, and plan terms are determined solely by licensed insurance providers and home warranty companies, vary by state and by individual circumstances, and are subject to underwriting.

We do not guarantee savings of any amount, and we do not guarantee that you will qualify for or be offered any product. Individual results vary. Some people will find no savings at all.

7. Advertising and compensation disclosure

Auto Insurance Solutions is an advertising-supported publisher. We do not collect your personal information and we do not sell it. We are paid for connecting you with a participating partner — we may receive compensation when you select a link on this site and continue to, or complete an action with, that partner. That compensation costs you nothing extra and does not change the price of anything you purchase from a partner.

Compensation may influence which partners appear on this site and where they appear. It does not influence the factual information we publish. We do not represent every provider, product, or plan available in your state, and the options presented here are not a complete survey of the market. Comparing offers from more than one source before deciding is always in your interest.

Insurance and home warranty markets change frequently. Content may become outdated, incomplete, or contain typographical errors, and we may correct it at any time without notice. We do not undertake to update any page.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

THIS SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THIS SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

These terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the law of the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these terms waives, limits, or restricts any right or remedy you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your state of residence, and nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim in small claims court or from filing a complaint with a government agency, including your state Attorney General or Department of Insurance.

18. General

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding this site.

We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the site after we post a change means you accept the revised terms. Please check this page periodically.
