Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 26, 2026 · Last updated: August 26, 2026
We do not collect your personal information. We publish information and connect you with a participating partner — that is all this website does.
There is no sign-up form on this site, no account to create, and no customer database on our side. We never ask you for your name, street address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, driver’s license number, vehicle identification number, Social Security number, insurance policy number, financial account or payment card details, or any health information. When you choose to continue, you are handed off to a partner, and anything you decide to tell them happens on their website under their privacy policy.
Auto Insurance Solutions (“Auto Insurance Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates auto-insurancesolutions.com. This Privacy Policy explains our practices in full, including the small amount of technical data that any website unavoidably records. Please read it alongside our Terms of Use.
1. Who we are, and what we are not
We are an advertising-supported publisher. We publish general information about auto insurance, home insurance, and home warranty plans and, when you choose to continue, we connect you with a participating third-party partner. We may be compensated for making that connection. That is the entire business.
We are not an insurance company, insurance agency, broker, producer, adjuster, or home warranty provider, and we are not licensed to transact insurance. We do not underwrite, issue, bind, price, or service policies or plans, and we make no coverage or eligibility decisions. Those decisions rest solely with licensed insurance providers and home warranty companies.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies only to this website. It does not apply to any partner, advertiser, or other third-party website you reach from here. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy and terms of the site you land on govern everything you do and everything you submit there. Because we collect nothing ourselves, the partner’s policy — not ours — is the one that matters for any information you decide to provide. Please read it before entering anything.
3. We do not collect your personal information
We do not collect your personal information. We publish information and connect you with a participating partner — that is all this website does. To be specific about what that means:
- We do not ask for personal information. No page on this site requests your name, street address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, driver’s license number, vehicle identification number, Social Security number, insurance policy number, financial account or payment card details, or any health information.
- We have no form and no database. There is nothing to submit to us, no account to create, no newsletter to join, and no record of you stored on our side.
- We do not build a profile of you, score you, or make any automated decision about you.
- We do not sell your personal information, because we do not have any to sell.
Three narrow things do happen, and we describe each of them honestly below so that this policy is complete rather than merely flattering: the answers you tap are carried in the link to the partner, our web host keeps ordinary server logs, and advertising cookies measure whether an ad worked.
3.1 The answers you select are passed through — not stored by us
Depending on the page, we may ask you one or two multiple-choice questions:
- whether you currently have coverage or a home warranty plan (yes or no);
- how many vehicles you have;
- whether you are a homeowner (yes or no).
These are anonymous preferences, not personal information — they do not identify you. When you choose to continue, your selection travels with you inside the destination link so the partner can show you relevant options instead of starting from a blank page. We do not save it, log it against you, or keep any record of what you tapped. If you close the page instead of continuing, the answer simply disappears.
3.2 What our web host records automatically
Every website on the internet sits on a server, and servers keep logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data such as your IP address (which indicates an approximate city- or region-level location), device type, operating system, browser type and language, the page or ad that referred you, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is the same data your own internet provider and every other site you visit already receive.
We use it only to keep the site running, secure, and free of bot traffic. We do not use it to identify you, we do not attach it to your answers, and we do not combine it with information from anywhere else. We are not able to work out who you are from it.
3.3 Advertising links and cookies
Advertising links carry parameters that identify the campaign or placement you came from — for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, click identifiers such as gclid or fbclid, and partner sub-IDs. These describe the ad, not you. When you continue to a partner, we pass those parameters through in the destination link so the connection can be attributed and the referral credited. This is how we get paid.
We and our measurement partners also use or may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, in three groups:
- Strictly necessary — to serve the site securely and remember your place in a question sequence.
- Analytics and measurement — to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. We look at totals, not individuals.
- Advertising and conversion measurement — to measure ad performance, attribute a connection to the ad that produced it, and, where enabled, support interest-based advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and use the industry opt-outs in Section 7. Parts of the site may not work as intended if strictly necessary cookies are blocked.
4. How the limited data described above is used
- To operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To connect you with a partner that matches the anonymous answers you gave.
- To measure advertising performance, attribute connections, and calculate the compensation owed to us.
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve our content and layout.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, bot traffic, invalid clicks, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not knowingly collect or process sensitive personal information as defined under state privacy laws.
5. Disclosure — we connect you, we do not hand over a file on you
We have no personal information about you to disclose to anyone. What does leave this site is limited to the following:
- Participating partners. When you select a button that continues to a partner, the anonymous answers you tapped and the campaign parameters from your link travel with you in the destination URL, as described in Section 3.1 and 3.3. Nothing else is transmitted, and nothing is transmitted at all unless you choose to continue.
- Service providers. Hosting, content delivery, security, and analytics vendors that process the technical data in Section 3.2 on our behalf and under contract.
- Advertising and measurement partners. Advertising platforms that help us measure conversions and, where enabled, deliver interest-based advertising.
- Legal and safety. Where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. “Sale” and “sharing” — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not have any. We include this section anyway, and offer a working opt-out, because we would rather over-disclose than under-disclose.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable laws in other states, “sale” and “sharing” are defined broadly enough to cover the use of advertising cookies and online identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands for data and no name is ever involved. To the extent our advertising activity qualifies as a “sale” or “share” under those definitions, we treat it as one and give you the right to opt out.
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we actually know to be under 16 years of age.
To opt out, use any of these:
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a GPC signal sent by your browser or extension as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser. See globalprivacycontrol.org.
- Email us at contact@auto-insurancesolutions.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
- Browser and industry controls — block cookies in your browser, and use the opt-out tools in Section 7.
Opting out does not stop you from using this site, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
7. Advertising, analytics, and your ad choices
We use or may use third-party services including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. Those services set their own cookies and identifiers and are governed by their own policies. Google’s explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can limit interest-based advertising here:
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on — tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Google My Ad Center — myadcenter.google.com
- Digital Advertising Alliance WebChoices — optout.aboutads.info
- Network Advertising Initiative — optout.networkadvertising.org
- YourAdChoices — youradchoices.com
- On a phone or tablet, use your device’s “Limit Ad Tracking” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” setting.
8. We do not call, text, or email you
This website does not collect your telephone number or email address, so we could not contact you even if we wanted to. Using this site does not sign you up for marketing calls, text messages, or emails, and no one contacts you on our behalf as a result of visiting.
If you choose to provide your contact information to a partner on the partner’s own website, any consent you give there — including consent to receive calls, autodialed or prerecorded calls, or text messages — is an agreement between you and that partner, governed by the disclosures on their page and their privacy policy. Read those carefully before submitting anything, and direct any opt-out, revocation, or do-not-call request to that partner directly.
9. Third-party websites
This site links to websites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, security, advertising practices, or how they handle information you give them. A link is not an endorsement. Since we collect nothing, the partner’s privacy policy is the one that governs your actual quote request — please read it.
10. How long anything is kept
Your answers are not retained at all — they exist only in the link you follow and are gone the moment you close the page. Technical and server log data is generally retained for a short period, commonly no longer than twelve months, unless a longer period is needed for security, fraud prevention, referral attribution and billing reconciliation, or to meet a legal obligation. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked to any person may be kept indefinitely.
11. Security
The single most effective privacy protection is not holding data in the first place, which is how this site is built. For the limited technical data described in Section 3.2 we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including serving this site over HTTPS. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 — we do not knowingly collect it from anyone of any age — and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, email contact@auto-insurancesolutions.com and we will delete it.
13. Your privacy rights
13.1 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
The table below covers the categories of personal information under the CCPA and our position on each one over the past twelve months.
| CCPA category | Do we collect it? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| A. Identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers, click IDs) | Not collected by us — recorded by our host and ad tools | Server logs and advertising cookies only, as described in Sections 3.2 and 3.3. Not linked to a name or to your answers. |
| B. Customer records (name, address, phone, SSN, financial information) | No | Never requested anywhere on this site. |
| C. Protected classifications (e.g. age range) | No — passed through only | Where a page asks, the range you tap rides along in the link to the partner. Not stored by us. |
| D. Commercial information (the answers you tap, the option you select) | No — passed through only | Anonymous preferences carried in the destination URL. Not stored by us. |
| E. Biometric information | No | — |
| F. Internet or network activity (pages viewed, referring URL) | Not collected by us — recorded by our host and ad tools | Aggregate analytics and security only. |
| G. Geolocation | Approximate only | City- or region-level, inferred from IP by our host. No precise or device location. |
| H. Audio, video, or similar information | No | — |
| I. Employment information | No | — |
| J. Education information | No | — |
| K. Inferences drawn to create a consumer profile | No | We build no profiles. Advertising platforms may build their own; use the opt-outs in Section 7. |
| L. Sensitive personal information | No | Never requested, never processed. |
California residents have the right to know and access the personal information we hold, to request its deletion, to request correction of inaccurate information, to opt out of its sale or sharing (see Section 6), to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we process none), and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. You may make a verifiable request twice in a twelve-month period, free of charge, and you may use an authorized agent with proof of authorization.
An honest limitation: because we hold no name, email address, phone number, or account for you, we usually have nothing to look up, nothing to correct, and nothing to delete — and no way to verify that a request belongs to a particular visitor. Where that is the case we will tell you so and explain why, as the law permits, and we will still act on any opt-out signal your browser sends.
13.2 Residents of other U.S. states
If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you generally have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. The same limitation applies: there is normally no stored data to act on. Use the contact method below.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word “Appeal.” We will respond in writing within the period your state’s law allows. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General to file a complaint.
13.3 Nevada residents
Nevada law gives you the right to direct us not to sell certain covered information. We do not sell it. To register the request anyway, email contact@auto-insurancesolutions.com with the subject line “Nevada Opt-Out.”
13.4 How to submit a request
Email contact@auto-insurancesolutions.com and state which right you want to exercise and the state you live in. So we can respond accurately, please send your request from the email address you want us to reply to, and include the approximate date and time of your visit and the page you were on. We will acknowledge your request and respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need a permitted extension of up to another 45 days.
If your request concerns information you gave to a partner after leaving this site, we cannot act on it — we never received it. Please contact that partner directly using the contact details in their privacy policy.
14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 6. There is currently no uniform industry standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” headers, so this site does not respond to them separately.
15. Visitors outside the United States
This site is intended for residents of the United States who are 18 or older. It is hosted and operated in the United States, and the limited technical data described above is processed there. If you access this site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. If we ever begin collecting information from visitors, we will change this policy to say so before we start, not afterwards. The version posted on this page is the version in force.
